Each child enrolled in ECBF’s programs receives a backpack stocked with school supplies, including pens, pencils, and the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. What happens in the gym carries into the schoolroom. Backpacks for Champions is ECBF’s investment in the whole child, because a champion shows up prepared everywhere, not just in training.
Supporting Champions Beyond the Gym
Backpacks for Champions is an ECBF program created to support young participants beyond the boxing gym and into the classroom. Each child enrolled in ECBF’s programs receives a backpack filled with essential school supplies, including pens, pencils, and the tools needed to feel prepared and confident at school. By removing the burden of basic school supply costs from families, ECBF helps ensure that every child has the opportunity to show up ready to learn, participate, and succeed.
This program reflects ECBF’s commitment to developing the whole child — not only as an athlete, but as a student, leader, and future champion. The discipline, confidence, and responsibility built through training are meant to carry into every part of life, including education. Backpacks for Champions reminds each young person that being a champion means being prepared, supported, and encouraged both in the gym and in the classroom.
